Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am so excited to start another school year at Harrison Elementary! I have been teaching now for 24 years in the Southwest Local School District. This year is a special milestone for me as I begin my 25th year of teaching! I am thrilled to get to work with first graders this year, as they have such a love for learning. Their curiosity keeps me on my toes and they push me to be the best teacher I can be. It's going to be an "OWLstanding" year!!
When I'm at home, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I live in Montfort Heights with my husband Larry, our two daughters, Lauren and Christina, and our dog Ruby. Lauren is 19 and will be a Sophomore at Ohio University. She is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders in hopes of becoming a Speech Pathologist. Christina is 16 and will be in the 11th grade. She loves music and theater. She is looking forward to her school's performance of The Little Mermaid this year.
I look forward to working with your child this year and want to thank you for sharing them with me. They are precious! Together, we'll watch them learn and grow. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions/concerns.
