Hello. My name is Robert Bundy. I am pleased to be your child's teacher this year in fifth grade. This is my 17th year as a teacher at Harrison Elementary School. I taught fourth grade for eight years, and I currently teach mathematics and writing in the fifth grade.
I have a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Ohio University. For ten years, I served as the news director of two radio stations in Ashtabula, a city in northeast Ohio. Later, I attended Youngstown State University to earn my license in elementary education. I also received a master’s degree in education from Marygrove University.
My hobbies are reading, running, traveling, listening to music and playing guitar. I enjoy reading nonfiction books about American history. I am also a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
My wife, Elissa, is a teacher in the Ross Local Schools, and we have one daughter, Hannah.
It is an honor to teach your children, and I thank you for the opportunity to help them grow and achieve.
